  Can not recommend this guided tour highly enough to anyone thinking of signing up for a tour in Southern Spain. Routes, scenery, weather and climbs were perfect and Geoff and his team provided an amazing level of service throughout the trip which would be difficult to beat by any other tour operator. Geoff was also an amazing host whose passion for cycling and Spanish culture shone through at all times. This tour should be on every cyclist's bucket list!

  We recently returned from the Moorish Andalusia bike tour in May 2013. Loved our guides Dean and David! As an added bonus, company owners Maggi & Geoff (with Geoff towing their young daughter in a trailer) joined us for a couple of days. We found that cycle touring really is in their blood! The route was more mountainous than expected, so heads up to you flat landers. We rode a tandem which we rented separately, a nonstandard situation since they were not set up, even with a large van, to necessarily haul a tandem if we needed to sag. I appreciate their willingness to accommodate us and improvise if need be. However, I am happy to report that we rode the entire route except for one day when one of the guides helped me out by riding with my husband the last few steep miles to our destination for the evening. Thank you David! I also enjoyed the continuous flow of local information, from the history surrounding the beautiful towns to what to order for lunch. It’s clear that everyone at Cycling Country not only loves bicycling, they love people, too, and will bend over backwards to make sure you have a fantastic trip!

  Accommodation ranged from very comfortable to 5-star luxurious. 5 group dinners were included, which were delicious 3+ courses with good wines.

  We had a wonderful family vacation! 12 of us, age range 61 to 26, biked the Olive Trail in late October. None of us had taken a trip like this before, or cycled for more than a day. Dean and Javi were extremely sensitive to our variety of abilities and concerns. The trip was well planned, with comfortable accommodations, great breakfasts and very nice dinners. As we rode, one guide would bike with us, and the other would follow in the van to pick up those of us who tired. We ALL would do a Cycling Country again in a heartbeat!

  One mistake we made was to take the standard hybrid bike instead of paying extra for a road bike, which most others on the trip had. Luckily after the first day, CC was able to get us road bikes which we needed to keep up with the others.

  After searching for a guided cycling trip in Spain, my wife and I selected Cycling Country's 10-day Andalusia tour. Their site said "hilly" but not "mountainous" - moderate difficulty.
